Dear All,
I am extremely glad to greet you all, the students, the members of the teaching and non-teaching faculty and the well wishers of Catholicate Higher Secondary School. The CHSS completes 91 years since its inception in 1931 by the great initiative of the late lamented His Grace Geevarghese Mar Philoxenos, of blessed memory, whom we fondly call Puthencavil Kochuthirumeni. On this occasion may I express my cordial appreciation to all who has been instrumental in bringing up CHSS an institution of academic excellence. We are very much obliged to the Principals / Head Teachers & teachers for their sincere commitment and earnest dedication. The new academic year 2022-2023 has already begun. At this juncture, may I scribble a simple tip for all of you to ponder over: Diversify to be Integral and Inclusive. What I mean is the diverse academic as well as non-academic talents and capabilities of the students should be catered to so that their personality development would be integral and inclusive. The academic standard of the students should grow and at the sametime their taste for sports, games, arts and other service oriented activities should also be fostered. And thereby, their personality might grow wholesome. In this regard CHSS has been performing well and I wish that it continues to be a model for other academic institutions.
